With the recent announcement of the Government's climate action plan, it is timely that we offer our congratulations to Year 4 Creative Digital Media student, Sayonara Bittencourt, on her selection for the Polytechnic Alliance Sustainability and Mobility Summer School 2019.

Sayonara was one of five TU Dublin students selected for this transformative learning opportunity, which takes place at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in July 7-14, 2019. The summer school will cover various strands of sustainability science projects, with contextual focus to TU Dublin's MSc in Sustainable Transport and Mobility.

The Polytechnic Alliance is a collaboration between TU Dublin, Hochschule Darmstadt, Lucerne, Coventry University, Purdue and UW Stout. TU Dublin participation in the summer school is funded by the HEA sponsored Transformative Student-Centred Learning Record (Transform-Edu) project, Campus Engage and the TU Dublin Sustainability Office.

What our students say...

Monika Karaliunaite

"Basically the course covers everything to do with digital and online media. I had it as a hobby in sixth year but when I came here I learned so much more."
