MOU signing

Dr. Diarmuid O'Callaghan, President of the Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown, and Ms. Mary Hickie, Principal of Colaiste Dhulaigh College of Further Education, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding, strengthening the long-standing relationship between the two institutes.

Building on ITB's mission to serve its students and the community by meeting the skills needs in the economy, and increasing the level of participation in Higher Education in Dublin North-West and environs, the agreement offers opportunities to graduates of Colaiste Dhulaigh to apply for first year and advanced entry onto Level 6, 7 and 8 programmes offered by ITB.

"I am delighted to sign this agreement with Colaiste Dhulaigh," said Dr. O'Callaghan, at a signing ceremony held today at ITB. "A strong relationship between the Further Education and Higher Education sectors is key to ensuring the delivery of a high-quality educational experience to the students of today, and the graduates of tomorrow, and we look forward to welcoming Colaiste Dhulaigh's graduates to the Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown, and to the Technological University Dublin in the years to come."

"This is an important step for our relationship with ITB, and for our graduates" added Ms. Hickie. "We very much welcome this development, and look forward to seeing Colaiste Dhulaigh graduates advancing to ITB and TU Dublin."

What our students say...

"Basically the course covers everything to do with digital and online media. I had it as a hobby in sixth year but when I came here I learned so much more."
