Last Friday Professor Rhona Sharpe, Oxford Brookes University UK launched the Change 1 Thing ... by Spring Initiative to colleagues across all three Technological University for Dublin (TU4Dublin) institutions.

Do you have a new teaching idea you would like to try out?
Are you thinking about using technology to support your students learning?
Are you planning a different approach to assessment across a programme?

The focus of the Change 1 Thing...by Spring Initiative is to encourage TU4D colleagues to think of, and apply, teaching practices changes that make a positive difference to student learning. And the DIT Learning, Teaching and Technology Centre will be there every step of the way to offer advice, support and a forum to connect with colleagues across the three institutions.

Following the launch Professor Sharpe facilitated a workshop for colleagues who were interested in exploring new, easy to implement, teaching learning or assessment ideas and to discuss ways to put these ideas into practice within a class, module or across a programme.
