The inaugural Ireland - Canada International Symposium - Higher Education in Transformation is taking place later this month. This unique event has been jointly organised by the TU4Dublin Alliance (DIT, ITTD and ITB) and our Canadian partners UOIT, OCADU, Trent and Durham College. We would also like to acknowledge the support of our sponsors D2L and TATA as well as the assistance of the Canadian Embassy.

The Symposium commences on Monday 30th March with a series of workshops across the main conference themes (the venue is DIT Aungier Street) - with workshop presenters from a range of Irish and Canadian HEI's including UOIT, OCADU and Durham College.

An opening reception will be held in the Chester Beatty Library on the Monday evening.

The conference venue is the Printworks at Dublin Castle with the opening on Tuesday 31st March - you will be able to choose from over 45 presentations - scheduled in parallel sessions addressing the main conference themes Re-Imagining our Curriculum, The Enterprising University, The Globally Engaged University and Universal Design in Education and Realising the Digital Campus.

Our keynote speakers include Prof. Tom Collins (currently Chair of the Governing Bodies of DIT and ITB) and Terrence MacTaggart, with a final plenary session on Wednesday afternoon organised by Dr. Michael Owen (Vice-President, Research, Innovation & International at UOIT)

The conference dinner will be held in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham on the Tuesday evening.
