New
Enterprise Support
M50
EPP
The M50 EPP is an innovative enterprise support programme,
provided in partnership by four higher education institutions
located in the M50 economic corridor. It targets graduates
wishing to make the leap from employment to start their
own high potential knowledge-intensive businesses, providing
them with a range of effective supports over a twelve
month period.
IT Blanchardstown has partnered with
IT Tallaght and Nova UCD and DCU Invent to deliver the
programme. Participation in the M50 Programme is one
aspect of the deep commitment of each institution to
innovation and enterprise support in the M50 region.
International experience provides very strong evidence
that survival and growth prospects of knowledge-based
start-ups are greatly enhanced when they are provided
with tailored business supports and located on a campus.
The four institutions together provide immense business
development expertise as well as access to an extremely
wide range of resources. The four campuses also provide
excellent gateways into the constituent communities
and areas that make up the fastest developing economic
region in Ireland.
