The School of Business here at the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown (ITB) is pleased to announce a series of Industry Seminars for the Not for Profit sector. See below details of our first event :

Seminar Theme : Performance Measurement - Developing the power tools to measure success
When :
July 11th 2017 , 8.30am - 10.45am
Where : Learning and Innovation Centre (LINC) Building, Institute of Technology Blanchardstown, Blanchardstown Road North, Dublin 15

The ability to measure and demonstrate success is vital for non-profit organisations (NPOs) as they depend on trust and the appearance of competency to maintain legitimacy in the eyes of the public upon whom they depend for funding. In the absence of an all-embracing figure such as profit, NPOs can use the provision of performance information to demonstrate their competency and their ability to meet their funders' expectations.
The objectives of the seminar are:
a) Demonstrate how you might define success
b) Outline some difficulties for NPOs in measuring performance
c) Developing a performance framework
d) Intentions - mission/vision/objectives
e) Action - what was achieved through activities/programs
f) Results - to what extent have objectives been achieved
g) Next steps
