Business Week at ITB was launched by Minister for Finance Brian Lenihan TD. The launch sees the start of an action-packed week to whet the appetite of any would-be entrepreneur or aspiring business executive.

The week sees a variety of activities including a Dragonís Den for students, student enterprise competition for local schools and an array of invited speakers including Liam Hayes from the Gazette Group, Gary McLoughlin from Dialogue Marketing, Galadrielle Heinrich, Ireland France Chamber of Commerce and Sinead Sanderson of Peaches and Cream. ITB is also hosting an International Day run by all the European students studying at ITB this semester.

According to Pat O'Connor, Head of Department of Business 'ITB is delighted to host so many events this week which will give all our students, both Irish and International, an opportunity to bring the real world of business into ITB as they prepare to become the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders'.

"Basically the course covers everything to do with digital and online media. I had it as a hobby in sixth year but when I came here I learned so much more."
