I chose ITB because of its reputation in the Cyber Security domain.  The lecturers in the course not only helped me develop my technical skills but broadened my knowledge in cyber security and digital forensics. During my time in ITB, I was fortunate to meet and interact with some amazing international students from different parts of the world. I’m currently working in Amazon as a cloud support associate.

Lili Sun - China

Trainee accountant, MBM Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors

I like maths, so i chose an accounting course in ITB. As Chinese was my main language, understanding English was hard at the start, however the lecturers were all really good and patient and answered whenever I had a question for them. I was also recommended for a tutor job, and this build my confidence in English.

All the staff are so nice in ITB, for example the nurse, canteen staff & library staff, whenever you have a problem, they help you and solve your problem as soon as possible. I enjoyed the trips that were organised, Chinese year celebrations which made me feel i am not my own in Ireland.

I’ve had one of the most wonderful years at ITB and am so glad that I chose to study here. The course content was very hands on and practical so I thoroughly enjoyed it. The student to teacher ratio was spot on and as a result, I could get personal attention. The staff in the International Office are always there when you need them and so I never felt home sick. The Student Union is very active and organises fun activities and events every now and then. ITB is a multi-cultural place and so I could learn about so many different cultures.
