On Wednesday June 6th & Thursday June 7th, ITB will host a two day Game Development summer camp for young aspiring game designers and developers. This event is open to second level students. No previous development experience is required, as it is a fully inclusive event. Tailored coaching, training and guidance ensures that each individual gets the most from the camp activities.

This camp is open to second level students only. The camp takes place in specialised Mac labs on the ITB campus in Blanchardstown. ITB lecturers deliver the camp, which ensures that the students not only learn best methods but that the workshops are truly engaging. Places in the camp are limited to 25 students. When students arrive to the camp, they will be formed into teams. These teams will then be taken to workstations in a computer lab where they will be presented with an overview of the fun film challenge which awaits them. No laptops are necessary, as pre-configured computers will be available for all activities.

Students will all receive a goody bag upon arrival at the camp. Lunch and snacks will be provided free of charge and will be available for all students at set times. These times will be communicated with the students on the day. During the event, there will be spot prizes and prizes that recognize student ability, teamwork and performance.

This is a free event but as places are limited, interested parties should register on Eventbrite early to avoid disappointment. FREE Lunch will be provided for all students at set times.

What our students say...

Monika Karaliunaite

"Basically the course covers everything to do with digital and online media. I had it as a hobby in sixth year but when I came here I learned so much more."
