Our fourth year Sports Management and Coaching students recently got together and held an event titled "FitStyle Week 2015". A total of 4683.61 Euros was raised throughout the week and all proceeds went to Pieta House.

This exciting week-long event was held both on and off campus and the Sports Management and Coaching students displayed great enthusiasm and made sure that everyone got involved in this wonderful cause.

Events included First Aid Clinics, Question of Sport Quiz featuring George Hamilton & Darragh Maloney from RTE , ITB golf classic at the luxurious Luttrellstown Castle Golf Resort, Date a Dub, Fun Run on campus and loads more. The week culminated with a visit by the Tanaiste Joan Burton, who was the guest of honour at the closing ceremony of the Dublin 15's fittest schools event.
Pupils from primary schools in the Dublin 15 area competed in this event with Sacred Heart, Huntstown being crowned champions.

FitStyle 2015 was organised by our fourth year Sports Management & Coaching students as part of their course module 'Practicum in Sports and Leisure Event Management'.

What our students say...

Monika Karaliunaite

"Basically the course covers everything to do with digital and online media. I had it as a hobby in sixth year but when I came here I learned so much more."
