ITB awards Annual Sports Scholarships

ITB recently awarded its Annual Sports Scholarships to students with outstanding sporting ability.
Minister for Health, Leo Varadkar TD was on campus to present the awards to these outstanding athletes.

 

 

The ITB Sports Scholarships were established in 2006/07 to assist students with outstanding sports potential and ability. Our Scholarship Students currently compete at national and international level in a variety of Sports.
In addition to an excellent financial package the recipients also receive academic mentoring, free athletic therapy support and high performance personal training support.
The Scholarships are available to all qualifying full time ITB students.

2. Wendy O Neill - Dublin - Swimming -Represented Ireland in Celtic Nations
3. Cliodhna Mac Namara - Kildare - GAA - Kildare at all levels up to Senior
4. Daniel Mc Evoy - Dublin - Basketball-Killester Super league player
5. Paul Dowling -Dublin - Basketball-National League with Swords Thunder
6. Sam Verdon - Dublin- Soccer - Airtricity League Player (St. Patrick Athletic)
7. Conor Mc Gill - Meath- GAA- Meath Senior Player
8. Patrick Sheridan - Dublin 15 - JiuJitsu
9. Gavin Boyne -Dublin 15 - Soccer- Airtricity League Player (Shelbourne FC.)
10. Isaac Westbrooks -Dublin - Basketball Irish international from U14- Senior level

21. Chloe Farrell- Dublin - Tae Kwondo-National and European Champion
22. Caoimhe Morris - Dublin- Athletics - Silver medal at University Championships
23. Graham Gerathy - Meath - GAA/Coaching-2 All-Irelands/All stars

ITB offers Sports Scholarships to full-time students to assist them in reaching their potential, both academically and in their chosen sport.
Applications are sought on an annual basis.
