ITB Humanities Week takes place from Tuesday 6th to Thursday 8th March 2012

The event is being organised by the ITB Humanities Department. This three day event kicks off with a Parade on Children’s Rights  followed by the official opening of Humanities week in the Sports Hall by Fr. Peter McVery.
Joan Burton T.D. – Minister for Social Protection will be on campus for a talk on Wed, 7th March. There will be stands on Human Rights Issues , “It’s a Cultural thing or is it ? ” – a play by Michael Collins, talk on Life as a social care practitioner, drama on self-awareness , workshop on Traveller Women & Violence.

 

 

Other events include workshops, photo exhibitions & student competitions.
