Openplain Winner of the iFactor at the LINC

Wednesday 17th November, The LINC, ITB is delighted to announce the winner of the iFactor to be Jonathan Mulligan of Openplain based at National College of Ireland Business Incubation Centre. Jonathan received a cheque for €4,000 to invest in Openplain which was funded from the Dublin City and County Enterprise Boards.

 

 

The iFactor saw a total of ten companies from the five Incubation and Innovation Centres in the third level colleges in Dublin. The ten companies that took part in the competition were Boxever, LORG, Lenders Engine, Clip Gurus, Saticon, Safefood 360degree , Lucey Technology, Openplain, UtilitySaver and Wirelite Sensors. Each had two minutes to make its uninterrupted elevator pitch. The judging panel then questioned them on their business for 3 minutes.

 

 

The Judging Panel comprised of the following:

  • Anthony Bermingham, formerly CEO of LAKE Communications and now an investor in technology start ups
  • Emer Jameson, Managing Director of yourlocal.ie
  • Richard Walsh, Managing Director, Ethanol Ireland
  • Anne Keogh, an experienced Entrepreneur in the digital media sector and Director of needahotel.com
The iFactor was funded by the four Dublin City and County Enterprise Boards.
