ITB ran the Paperclip Challenge with Riversdale Community College in May.
The aim was to support the development of entrepreneurship skills and to raise awareness of entrepreneurship. The objective is to start with a small object and trade it for a bigger or better object. This challenge is aimed to test bartering skills and see how creative students can be as "one manís trash is always another man's treasure". Transition year students entered the competition which took place over the weekend 7th - 9th May and a diary of each trade was kept.

The students came to ITB on Friday 21st of May where the panel of judges interviewed the students regarding their swops and diary details.

The judges then announced a joint 3rd prize - Alexandra and Louise. 2nd prize - Went to Amy Kelly Winner was Gavin Moloney.
This project was funded through Dormant Account Funding.

"Basically the course covers everything to do with digital and online media. I had it as a hobby in sixth year but when I came here I learned so much more."
