Shuttle Bus Service

Service Update :

The Shuttle Bus is currently running a full service.


The Shuttle Bus service is operated by Express Bus on behalf of ITB. The main pickup points are as follows: 

  • Blanchardstown Shopping Centre (Starbucks)
  • National Aquatic Centre
  • ITB campus


Timetable Information

  • A full service runs during term-time, with a reduced service at other times.
  • The service is FREE between the National Aquatic Centre (NAC) and the ITB campus.



The cost is €1 per journey or €5 for a weekly ticket (which permits unlimited travel over a weekly period)

Passengers may pay with cash or they may use a Leap Card

(Note: Leap Cards can now be topped up on the Shuttle Bus.)

ITB Shuttle Bus pickup point at Coolmine Train station:

Turn left when you come out of the train station and walk along the Carpenterstown Road towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, turn left and it’s the first bus stop. Click map below.

FAQ's :

  • Pay cash or use Leap Card or use your weekly ticket
  • Weekly tickets allows unlimited travel on the ITB Shuttle Bus.
  • Holders of a valid Disability Bus Pass can use the ITB shuttle bus for free once they produce the pass to the driver.
  • The Shuttle Bus is FREE between the National Aquatic Centre (NAC) & ITB
  • Dublin Bus, Bus Eireann and a number of private operator’s (such as Express Bus service 801) operate in the area. Please contact the operator directly.
