The LINC works with the Schools in ITB to support the development of an entrepreneurial culture among the undergraduate and post-graduate community.

Initiatives include :

Accelerating Campus Entrepreneurship Project

This project funded through the HEA Strategic Innovation Fund is a partnership between ITB, Dundalk Institute of Technology, Cork Institute of Technology, Sligo Institute of Technology and NUI Galway.

As part of this project ITB is now delivering a Master of Science in Technology Entrepreneurship. Click here for more information.

Student Enterprise Intern

This role is funded currently from Fingal County Enterprise Board and is modelled upon the Scottish Institute of Enterprise programme which has been running successfully over the past number of years. The intern works with the student community to promote entrepreneurship. She organises competitions and seminars and hosts events with successful business owners as guest speakers, thus opening up the world of enterprise throughout the student body.

Global Business Incubation Day

The LINC works with other enterprise centres in the Fingal region to celebrate the international day of incubation. This was then followed by an Open Day in all the Enterprise Centres in the Fingal County.

Student Enterprise Competitions

ITB students have taken part in many enterprise competitions over the years including Enterprise Ireland Student Enterprise Awards and the Newstalk Student Enterprise Competition.  These competitions are supported through the LINC and the School of Business.
