ITB has a wide range of Full time and Part time day and evening courses. Since ITB opened in 1999 it has developed strong links with industry, working closely with companies to meet their competence needs. Through the LINC, industry can access the academic and general expertise of ITB. The LINC works with industry to identify its competence needs and then works with the Schools to address these competence gaps through customised accredited programs. These programs can be delivered with flexible delivery modes on and off site.
Through the LINC, ITB has worked with many companies including Damovo Ireland, Ericsson Ireland, Club Managers Association of Europe, IBM and Intel.
Some of the competence areas that have been addressed include :

- Computing
- Network Security
- Mechatronics
- Business Adminsitration
- Personal Development
- Leadership Skills.

" I believe we developed a real partnership with ITB to the extent that the programme was completely designed and tailored to the needs of the organisation and in line with the existing technical competence of the students.
The initial assessment was a critical piece in determining current levels of competence and the results were used to determine the level of training required.
Throughout the programme from design, throughout the delivery phase and following its completion there was a constant communication between the organisation and the ITB. Relevant reports were generated and disseminated quickly and efficiently so the company was kept fully informed of progress throughout the various streams.
ITB was extremely flexible throughout – from design through to completion – dates were adjusted to meet changing business/personal needs and extra tuition offered without additional cost where the tutors felt such an intervention would be appropriate.
The quality of teaching and personal interest shown by the lecturers was applauded by the students and the facilities were first-class.
From a Damovo perspective we set a very challenging timeline to the college which was delivered fully – on time and within budget.
