ITB has developed a comprehensive approach to quality assurance of its academic programmes and other services. We are committed to implementation of quality assurance processes that are consistent with International best practice, and in this regard we have developed processes that involve external experts as well as students, staff and other key stakeholders. These processes include a commitment to publish information relating to quality assurance policies and reports in an accessible manner. The Institute quality assurance procedures have been agreed with Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI - the body with awarding and quality assurance responsibilities previously governed by HETAC ) and An Foras Áiseanna Saothair (FÁS), where appropriate.
For information on these policies please click the link to quality assurance policies below. The output of the quality assurance procedures is often an independent report, containing specific recommendations. For information on recent quality assurance reports, please click on the link to quality assurance reports below.

In line with the concept of quality improvement, the Institute quality assurance system is in a state of continuous development. Feedback on any of the publications listed here is welcome.
